Should You Only Read the King James Bible? — The Parker J Cole Show

Parker J Cole Banner

There are a lot of different Bible translations out there but one has to admit the lyrical prose of the King James Bible remains supreme for many different reasons. Part of it is that it is one of the first to be translated in English. Perhaps another is the fact it’s been in our Western culture for so long.

Yet, there are those who proclaim you should only read the King James Bible. Why is that? In the light of the many translations out there, what holds the King James Bible in such high esteem?

Join me for this discussion as I chat with pastor George McVey as we discuss the KJV only theory and more. You can call in at 646-668-8485, press 1 to be live on air. Or, you can download Stitcher on your mobile device. Or click on the link here: http://tobtr.com/s/9541617

  1. If I could only read the KJV Bible I think I’d have a jacked up understanding of the word. Thank goodness for other Word-for-Word and even Thought-for-Thought translations.
