We’re obviously living in a time of enormous disruption right now, in big ways and small. Many of us are trying to hold it off as much as possible, but do you  wonder whether there are ways God wants to use it to give us a new perspective and to clear out some space to do a new thing?

Impartation: Change from the Way it was to How it will Be — The Parker J Cole Show

impartation

Have you ever felt like you were the only one who felt a certain way? You wonder where the negative feelings are coming from, but are afraid to say anything because you do not know what people will think or say about you? The feelings are connected to a root. Something in your past happened and now unforgiveness is rooted in your heart, which has grown to a tree and is affecting every area of your life. In this 31-day devotional, Anna Bernice lets you know that you are not the only one who has had negative feelings, but she shows you what she did and still does by giving you scriptures, overviews, and prayers to meditate on so that you can uproot the tree and find freedom through Jesus Christ. Be inspired, be blessed, and remember you have already won the battle.

“But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou are converted, strengthen thy brethren” Luke 22:32 KJV.

Who’s Got Your Back? — The Parker J Cole Show

Who’s got your back? Most men will simply answer, “no one.” Not many men have close friends in the sense that women do. We’re more likely to form alliances than we are friendships. It doesn’t have to be this way. Who’s Got Your Back? will motivate men to build satisfying relationships which will be there during the ups and downs of life.

David Smith’s new book, Who’s Got Your Back? clearly presents the clarion call for men to be the kind of men modeled for us by Jesus. David shows us how we can be strong, task oriented, and achieving, but also warm-hearted and unmistakably relationship driven in the rough and tumble of everyday life.

This good book brings into sharp focus a genuine and functional and real-life definition of manliness. David Smith has skillfully woven stories with practical application strategies into a narrative as to how we build and support trusting relationships.

A Tribute to Ravi Zacharias–The Parker J Cole Show

PJC Show 2020

When I heard that Ravi Zacharias had passed away yesterday, I cried. Though the man never knew me, though we never had a chance to say hello, he left an impact in my life. Over ten years ago, I entered the world of apologetics. The first book I read by him was called “Jesus Among Other Gods”. From that moment on, I devoured every word he had to say. He tackled the big questions of life with an intelligence and sensitivity that anyone of us could learn from. The written word was his tool. Through his ministry RZIM, he traveled the world with the intent to share the impact of Jesus on his life with everyone.

Tonight, we give tribute to an wonderful apologist, and servant of God. My guest co-host is Melissa Pellew. Melissa Pellew is a full-time missionary and community apologist with Ratio Christi serving as Co-Chapter Director, with her husband Devin, at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, where they are equipping college students to defend the Christian Faith as well as engaging unbelieving and skeptical students. She has been involved in pro-life activism since 2006 in various capacities from sidewalk counseling at abortion clinics, mentoring expectant mothers and fathers, speaking on pro-life apologetics and conducting trainings at churches, conferences, youth groups and the college campus. On their internet podcast, “Theology Matters with The Pellews” on BlogTalk Radio, Melissa and Devin discuss and host debates on a wide number of Christian Apologetics and biblical worldview issues, including abortion and sexual ethics.

God’s Sense of Humor — The Parker J Cole Show

Everyone on the planet has something to say about God. His love, foremost. His power, glory, honor, justice, holiness, and many, many, many more things. He is our Creator, our Redeemer. The Giver of Life and the great Judge.

But how often do we talk about God’s sense of humor? How, despite our mix-ups, He gives us a second chance. The biblical people in the Bible that we tend to the deify aren’t really all that different from us. How He takes a situation, flips it, and has us shaking our head.

SPECIAL EDITION OF WRITE STUFF — Fresh Faith with Jon Fugler

fresh faith“It’s not about performing for Jesus. It about living for Jesus.” Jon Fugler.

Truer words have not been spoken.

The world has shut down, but Christians face an opportunity they have never seen before and may never see again. This is the message Jon Edward Fugler presents in his new book, FRESH FAITH: Leaning on God in the Corona Crisis. He has sparked readership and response globally. “Your social life is on hold,” Fugler writes. “Your church life, too. Services have gone online. Sports and cultural events on your schedule are cleared away. Schools are closed. Workplaces are resorting to remote officing.”

Fugler, a longtime author and Christian broadcast leader, implores believers not to waste their newfound free time. Instead of filling the hours with social media and binging on Netflix, he exhorts readers to invest in the most important relationship of their lives. The one with God. FRESH FAITH drives readers towards a deeper relationship with Jesus. Fugler tells his own story of isolation that led to a season that brought him closer than ever to God.
Join me as I chat with Jon Fugler and give you the words of wisdom, hope, and inspiration to see you through this pandemic and it’s aftermath on May 13th at 7 pm Eastern time! arrow

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die . . . A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”

War has come to Algoran. The Gulstaa nation is determined to expand their territory with merciless resolve. Their end goal is revenge for a past defeat — they want to conquer the Mountain Mokta and anyone else in their way.

Jordan SnowFire is now the Mokta Chieftess. She has the daunting task of stopping a conflict she never asked for. Will she seek the wisdom of God or the wisdom of her tribe? What impact will the blood of SnowFire flowing through her veins have on the way she conducts this war? How far will she go to protect her family and the Mokta people?

Meanwhile, Erica Melendez finds herself trapped in the middle of the hostilities. Tragedy forces her away from the Ullvarr village and into circumstances she never imagined when she came to this world. Can she survive long enough to be reunited with Jordan?

Loyalties are tested. Decisions are made. And Algoran will never be the same after Jordan’s Arrow finds its target.
