Tonight on the Write Stuff — Social Media Tips for Authors with Fran Briggs

Social media is a great way for authors to connect with readers. It’s a platform builder to garner the reach of potential new readers and stay in contact with fans. In fact, it’s recommended that authors uutilizesocial media if they want to succeed.

However, social media is changing and we need to stay up to date with it. In fact, most of us are aware that Facebook, a popular social media site, has changed its rules to allow for unpaid subscribers to NOT get as much exposures from their social media pages as those who do pay. For indie authors with a limited budget, this is a concern. Especially if Facebook is the main vehicle on which they network.

And that’s just one of the issues we’re going to talk about today.

Join me as I discuss social media tips with our returning guest and wonderful PR rep, Fran Briggs as we talk and navigate the social media world. You can call in at 646-595-2083, press 1 to be live on air. Or you can download the WLUV radio mobile app today. Tune in!
