Prophecy is one of those topics where there are a plethora of emotions attached to it, from excessive fear to hard skepticism. These reactions are outwardly expressed by some people choosing to never leave their homes to those who say it’s all a bunch of baloney.
And to be fair, there is an element of fear to be associated with prophecy. After all, there is an understanding that things cannot continue as they are. The flip side of the coin is that skepticism is also valid because some people see ‘prophetic’ sayings as a means of controlling people and exhorting money, obedience, and other vices from it.
On this episode of the Write Stuff, we’re going to be talking about prophecy. What it means, should we care, what’s the difference between biblical prophecy and other faith’s prophetic words, and more. Our returning guest and Write Stuff favorite, Josh Peck, will be enlightening us so feel free to call in at 646-595-2083, press 1 to be live on air.
