I really think there can be no greater mystery than the metamorphosis of a caterpillar to a butterfly. The idea of completely changing from one stage of development to another is enough to leave you in a state of constant wonder.

In the Intelligent Design film Metamorphosis, it explores this fascinating aspect of the life of the monarch butterfly although there are other organisms who share the same process of growth and development.

Yet, metamorphosis does not only apply to the monarch butterfly but to people as well. Sometimes a single event in our lives can change us in an instant. These events can be positive or negative. But the impact of changes and transforms us.

Christian/inspirational writers have a unique perspective of this dynamic as it relates not just to the body but to the soul. Transforming from sinner to saint, from darkness to light, from death to life, is by no means something to gloss over. Christ’s blood washes away the stain of sin and puts in its place, His righteousness.

As it relates to writing, I can’t think of any professional writer or an aspiring one who does not grow through a metamorphosis of their career.  I know I just have and I’ll be sharing my news with you tonight on the show.

On this topic of metamorphosis, I have the pleasure of interviewing and dialoguing with two fabulous, phenomenal guest — LeTecia Cunningham from Tyler Perry Studio also known as Bad Girl Gone Good of Gospel  and Kimberla Lawson Roby, NY Times Bestselling author.

Feel free to call and ask questions of our guests as we delve into their own stories of metamorphosis. You can call in at 646-595-2083 press 1 and you’ll be live on air.
